The war over nicotine dependency rages on...
Quitting smoking is one of the toughest things I've ever tried to do. Over the past 3 days I've had a total of 9 cigarettes, 5 the day before yesterday, 3 yesterday, and 1 today. Today's cigarette was kind-of odd. I was standing outside of my building in the strip, having a mental tug-o-war with myself whether or not to inhale the lit cigarette I was holding in my hand. Suffice to say, I lost the battle today, but I think I'm progressively winning the war.
On a sad side note, Bubbles the secretary quit this morning. I really liked Bubbles, she had the build of a Polar Bear, and the attitude of cheerleader, thus the naming "Bubbles." Her quitting could have been because since working here she has been in 2 car accidents, both involving PAT busses. Either that, or the constant interaction with the co-worker I shall call "Mid-life Crisis Guy," who thinks sexually harassing every female in the office makes him "cool" with the young guys (that, or he is just a pervert). Well, whatever her reasons Bubbles will be sorely missed.
